What I mean is that I will continue to post updates about my dog Lisen over at my blog: ropcorn.com. This is simply because I write so much about Lisen there already. So for fresh updates and photos of Lisen you are very welcome to visit Lisen's very own section over at:My Dog.
I will keep this blog though, mainly because I have a lot of info about Lisen's early years here as well as some older blog posts about her. So feel free to browse around those while you are here. Thank you! :-)

Summer fun in the ocean July 31, 2011 3:26 PM
Although this summer has not been filled with sunshine Lisen has still enjoyed swimming in the ocean from time to time. Of course she doesn't really care what temperature it is outside or in the water. She just plunges in and play away! :p
Ahhh!
Chew the stick.
Where did it go?
Found it!
Up I come.
Ops! Slippery!
Hey! Come swim with me!

Lisen events in pics April 5, 2011 2:12 PM
It's been a while since the last update here. This is of course because I feature Lisen in many posts in my (her owner) blog, ropcorn.com. But I want to keep this blog for her because I have her background story and pics here. So Lisen is now 10 years old. Happy Birthday my darling dog! And at the moment she is in her post heat cycle period. When she thinks she is pregnant. Other than that she is healthy, happy and enjoying her doggy life. And below are some pics of her everyday life lately.
Sometimes when we are out walking Lisen decides she wants to carry her leash. And this is what happens when she gets such an urge.
On a little excursion to the car wash, hehe.
Lisens 10th birthday celebration on March 17th. She LOVES to get wrapped presents! Behind her in the top pic is Diva, her daughter. She of course also got a few treats on this day. :-)
And Lisen on the balcony a few days ago. The blue thing is a sort of toy that you put candy/food in and then it's Lisens job to get it out somehow. Good mental exercise. However Lisen does not like heights, we live on the fifth floor, so here she wants me to move the toy from the edge of the balcony. Hence "the look".

Lisen in da shower January 31, 2011 4:15 PM
It's been a cold and snowy month of January. This also means that there are a lot of sand and salt on the roads to prevent folks from slipping and skating around. Now when Lisen walks on these roads, especially on those days when the temperature is a few degrees above zero Celsius, she gets quite dirty. And it's not very pleasant for her or me to have that kind of dirt in her fur.
This means regular visits in the shower, hehe.Lisen actually doesn't mind to take a shower and get washed. I think she likes the fact that she can shake her wet fur in there and get me soaked, haha. Because I usually look like I have taken a shower as well after washing her...
Here are some pics of Lisen in da shower today. :p
Left pic: Here we go again. Right pic: Well, wash me then!
Left pic: Come on, stop taking pics! Right pic: Yeeeaaah! Bring it baby!
Left pic: Shake, shake! Right pic: Did I get some water on ya over there? Hehe.
Left pic: Don't get any water in my ears! Right pic: Ok, are we done yet!!?

Snow ho ho ho and visit to the Vet December 20, 2010 4:32 PM
Soon after the frost showed up, so did the snow. And it's been snowing for about a month now. Lisen loves it! She plays around in it like it's the best thing ever, which is fine with me. Better snow than dirt, hehe.
Lisen has been limping a bit with her right front leg for a while now, not every day, but sometimes. So I took her to the Vet for a check up and x rays. The Vet didn't find anything in her skeleton, but she could see that Lisen had an inflammation in one of her muscles. So now she has to eat some pills for about three weeks. She also had an ear infection, which has been treated since and is gone now. But I'm glad it wasn't anything more serious. The Vet said she looked fine and commended me on keeping her fit and at a healthy weight. Which is always nice to hear. :-)
Here are some lovely winter pics of Lisen and Diva.
Lisen does not like when I dress her up, lol! But she does like Christmas. And we both wish you all a wonderful one!

Frosty play November 8, 2010
It's starting to get really cold outside now, so I guess it's time to put a jacket on Lisen soon. Not that I like to put clothes on her, but last year the Vet suggested that I put something on her to keep her warm. This would prevent her from getting inflammation in her joints. And Lisen does not seem to mind having a jacket on, hehe. Still, the jacket will have to wait a little while longer.
On another note, Lisen has lost some weight! Yay! When I weighed her last Friday the scale stopped at 33,8 kg. She should weigh about 32-33kg, so that's good. Now I just have to keep watching her food and treat intake and she'll be fine.
Here are some pics of Lisen (and Diva) enjoying our frosty Sweden.
Lisen has been featured more and more on my own blog lately, so updates here are a bit further apart than before. But I still think she needs her own blog, simply because I love taking pics of her! And I can't post them all on my blog, hehe. I also share more details about her life here.
Like how I have had to put Lisen on a bit of a diet lately...When I weighed her at the Vet, she had gained about two kilos since her last weigh in. Not good at all! I guess I have been letting her taste more of what I eat than usual, but I didn't think she had put on weight though...A bit of a shock.
And when Lisen wants food, which she loooooves, she can be very stubborn and annoying! So sometimes I annoy her back, haha! Like in the pics below.
Above left: Here she is on mission: "Annoy until I get some food mood!" Above right: And here I am being just as annoying, haha!
Above left: Now, of course she still get treats, but she has to work for them a bit harder though. Here I have laid out a trail of her favourite treats in the forest. Above right: And she loves to track, so it's really a win - win situation :-)

Back to her old self! September 1, 2010
No more whining, digging and confusion. Good for her and even better for me, haha. Lisen has been thinking she is pregnant for a while now, which she always does after her heat cycle, but a few days ago she woke me up early and wanted her breakfast. Then I knew she was back to her usual self again :-)
Here are some pics from the last few weeks.
Above left: She loves all disgusting puddles! Above right: Sorry Lisen, that's the price you have to pay!
Above left: She got a treat later in the evening when she was clean and fresh again. Above right: One of her "pregnant" evenings, depressed!
Above: Lisen wandering in the forest carrying her leash, which she really enjoys for some reason...?
